Leader-in-Training(LIT)/Counselor-in-Training(CIT)

The Leader-in-Training (LIT)/Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program is a program designed for campers who have aged out of Camp iHope. This program provides training in the effective use of leadership skills such as communication, teamwork, caring, responsibility, problem-solving, and respect. Skills that will be useful in all areas of life. The training is also useful in preparing future counselors for Camp iHope.

Eligibility Requirements:
Graduate of Camp iHope or have been a patient or sibling of a patient treated at Medical City Children's Hospital.
• 17 or 18 at the beginning of the camp session
• Must have physician's permission for patient's on-therapy
• Must complete a short essay about why you want to participate in the program
• Must complete volunteer application paperwork and process

Only a handful will be selected for these competitive programs.
